Coping With the Birth of an Anomalous Infant
Abstract
Congenital anomalies are caused by a multiplicity of agents, most as yet not known. Although congenital anomalies are not frequent, their occurrence is always traumatic for the whole family. In addition to the usual adjustments related to maturational crisis that occur as a part of the normal process of parenthood, families of anomalous infants have to cope with the superimposed situational crisis.Downloads
